We launched www.xblogspot.com and are beta testing this service for those interested.
It is based on the popular WordPress platform which means there are literally hundreds of plug-ins and themes available to use. Also has build in anti-spam, trackbacks, comments and auto-ping.
Check out the themes and give it a try!
For those who don't already know:
1. Blogs are nicer to look at than most TGP sites because visitors are not bombarded with thumbs - they can read a bit of text and focus on what they are interested in.
2. They promote the building of relations and raport with the surfer through enabling the author to imprint their personality into their posts.
3. They are great for SEO. You can have good keyword specific quality textual content on every post.
4. Increased repeat traffic... not just through quality, but through RSS.
5. MUCH Better Quality Traffic... TGPs lend themselves to blind links and circle jerks. Quality Blogs work on the principal that "less is more" and traffic to them comes from reciprocal links of similar content and toplists.
