My friends recommended me very cheap web hosting provider which is called webhostgiant.com because I was searching for reliable web hosting company which offers cheap shared web hosting plans and allows to host multiple domain names. I don't know what web hosting to choose, Linux or Windows... Could you help me? What is the difference between these platforms?

Choose Linux based webhosting.

Cheap web hosting provider ... well it can be webintellects.com, this company has offered cheap service on Linux and Windows OSs. And you are able to choose the one you need. Start from Linux, it doesn't demand much knowledge and experience comparing to Windows one.

Taking into consideration your needs I recommend you to widen your search first of all and compare different web hosting offers. Check out gazzin.com web hosting offers - this company provides me with uninterrupted services and goos support, so you can contact them and ask what you need and what content you are going to host with them.

linux is always the best choice
I would like to say that most web masters appreciate webhostgiant.com services. Platform choice depends on the applications you are going to host. If it is asp.net, you have to choose Windows - you know, about 95% of applications can be hosted on Linux - you'd better speak with its support. It guarantees 99.9% network uptime and the most important is that it has 30-day money back guarantee.

Well, it seems to me that the best solution and answer to this question is to contact webhostgiant.com support and tell them all the details, the content you are going to host with them. I prefer to focus on something much more important, reliable web hosting and great customer service. If you deal with them, you will have the ability to go far beyond the resource limitations found in a shared hosting environment.
