After four months of promoting my site, I only get organic traffic from Google. And that is limited to less than ten hits a day.
I'd say 90% of my traffic comes from direct promotion of my site and through links.

It's a shame, none of the others can compete until they start actively supporting the webmasters and speeding up their process.

There's a lot of lovers of google on here lol... I wonder why... maybe adsense has something to do with that... and what is wrong with that? nothing I guess apart from the fact google have almost a monopoly when it come to search engines... but hey a little competion is always good... isn't it? That saying having all your eggs in one basket springs to mind....if google decide your not suitable on their index... then in the current climate your site is doomed!!!

Google will not always be so dominant.... markets change and so do surfing preferences.... personally i've just switch to using Bing.....as my site show so much better in search results... for some reason i find that comforting lol even though bing currently only account for a tiny portion of search engine traffic....but it is growing...

Yet the only reason google has such a monopoly is the fact that we as users let them... If was all choose to go search for stuff else where.. they'd have to change there ways!!

Is this even a question... anyone having a doubt on a SE other than the big G? Google is the monopoly in the www world.. There are no active competitors in the field of search. And who else provides valuable and reliable Search Results other than Google??
