You really need to look at the quality of your thumbnails, they look like shit.
Spend some time cropping them.

I agree with Darkhorse - I believe you should properly redo the entire center row of thumbs:

The thumbs in the first section are way too small in dimension and file size, as well they do not look proportional (but that maybe because they are simply too small).
The thumbs in the second and third center section look somewhat better, but yet again, the quality is too low.
The thumbs on the left-side are very nice:
