i have a simple but maddening thing i need to figure out. I have a particular graphic file (a logo) that I've changed. I have 900 fhg's which the logo apprears in, and it has the same name in each folder it is in. How can I replace every instance of the file with the new version quickly and simply. One would think there would be a simple solution like "REPLACE c:\dir\file.xyz /s file2.xyz" or something like that...
ideas?

http://scripts.xrenoder.com/sr.txt - it's in russian language, but probably you will understand how to use it. I used this script long time ago to make search & replace on my server.
or you can download everything to your computer, replace everything there and upload again

that would be an option, since i have it as a dreamweaver site, so then i could just hit "synchronize" after i've done the replicating locally.... BUT other than making a huge .bat file, is there any simple way to say "copy abc.htm to every subfolder of folder x"? that's what's killing me, every file copy or sync utility expects a 1 to 1 relationship, ie a file over here equals a file over there, now sync it. I need a simple, "take this file and put one copy in those x number of folders..."
