What monitor do u prefer?

awn.namers! what kind and size of monitor do u prefer?

for example i have CTX 19'... and i'm affraid to buy LCD monitor, couse i think that it's not rather good for designing... what do u think about it?

I use TFT 19' , and dreaming to by 22', it's rather good for web design and for designer's eyes.

and what about color reproduction ? i think that TFT monitors have troubles with it..... don't you feel such thing working with graphics?

I have 19" CTX (misubishi), 17" CTX (samsung) and 14,1" LCD (my laptop).

All of them i use for design, my favourite one is mitsubishi, but on LCD it is also possible to design (it should be good LCD, of course).

i'm not very good in it, so i think you should just read professional reviews and trust your own eyes in shop, when you'll decide to buy it ;)

I have 19' CRT Eizo and I'm very happy with them. Thinking on buy 21 CRT or 22TFT same brand. If you ever see Eizo you will trough away your CTX and etc. ;o)

i'm not very good in it, so i think you should just read professional reviews and trust your own eyes in shop, when you'll decide to buy it ;)

you know, it's so difficult to decide what to buy when you are in shop and choosing something from lots of different monitors..... it seems that every monitor is perfect... ;)

I think so. I noticed few months ago they make new kind of TFT monitors. Haven't seen them yes and they are quite expensive for me at moment ;o(. about 4000-5000 Euro for 22' one

yep, really expensive... but i'm sure that for these money their quality will be great!

I have 2 CRT monitors, 1x 19" for main display and 1x 17" displaying notes etc.

I think the 19" is a great size as I'm not moving my head to view the whole thing and 1280x1024 is higher than most surfer use anyway.

I'm almost ready to get a LCD, but will hold out until I can play games with out the blur or ghosting that is on current models.

... i used LG F700P :D... but i like only SONY, only TFT and only 19'!!!

we use only LCD, especially ViewSonic G-series...bright, clear and high-quality picture
