I don’t go to church, but I believe that there is a higher power watching over us. You don’t have to read the bible or go to church to believe in something. :)

But for what do you need it? Does God help you to live, believe or what...? I have a friend, she says that God helps her to be better, solve problems,to be in harmony.... It's hard for me to understand her.

I believe in myself.
I am not saying I am a god ... I am saying I am my own god.

(I do believe in other beings, but not an almighty creator.)

Ah yes, Roman Catholic schools, been there, did that; and I can safely say I survived, without being molested by some :pop:

The first school for me was Saint (St.) Rock, in Toronto. The principal was a priest and most of the teachers were nuns ... WOW did I take a beating. Every nun had a bible (no shocker), with a thick long piece of leather, used as a bookmark (or so they had told everybody that is what it was for). It is no wonder that I have never used a bookmark … my hands tremble each time I touch one.
