How many galleries do you usually add to your new tgp/mpg?

How many galleries/thumbs do you usually add to your new tgp/mgp when you start it? I usually add 250-1k galleries and make thumbs for each picture/movie.

I haven't done any tgp lately, but when I did I added always 500+ to start with and let Comus take care of everything (except the cropping, I cropped every thumb by hand).
