That question is something that entirely depends on your traffic.

I have affiliates that convert 1:2 trial signups where other affiliates convert 1:5.

I find that webmasters that create a porn star niche or category on their site tend to convert better. But, once again this is merely an observation from one point of view... because I have other affiliates that do just as well simply on exit pages from targeted areas.

When it comes to signups (not conversions), signup ratios range from 1:20 to 1:3000... better signup ratios trend towards targeted traffic whereas other affiliates work purely on bulk from TGPs/MGPs.
