I use Outlook Express - I know that The Bat is better by functionality but I used to use this client  What about you?

I use TheBat 2.01
as for me this is the best email client
You can even view and delete your mails right from server and don't download emails which you don't need

I've heard that it's possible to download addon for Outlook Express to do that - does anybody know about it?

I use The Bat 1.51, it's a quite old version but I have no time to install a new one :)
Several years it works fine for me.

I use The Bat! but earlier I used a program called Incredimail. It has a lot of nice effects and looks better than The Bat!, but it has limited functionality against spam and it does not support all Russian codepages, only windows-1251 :(

I used to use Outlook but I found that it took up far too much system memory. I have been using Mozilla’s Thunderbird 2 email application which is free to download. It’s very simple to use - http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/
